Find Alpine Slides

An alpine slide is a type of amusement ride consisting of a slide built on the side of a hill or mountain. The slide is built out of concrete, fiberglass, or a combination of both materials. It typically has a series of tight curves, bumps, and drops. Riders control the speed of their descent on the slide by using a handheld brake lever. The alpine slide is a type of gravity ride, and can be found in Northern Michigan ski resorts in the summer months. It is a thrilling ride with spectacular views of the surrounding terrain.
