“A wonderful place to stay for your Sleeping Bear Dunes visit!”

As far as location, the resort is in the middle of everything. We were 15-25 minutes away from anywhere we wanted to go. Empire, the Dune, Glen Arbor, or Traverse City is a short drive away. If you are wanting a peaceful place to stay while you are visiting, this is the place to stay. SERENITY, is the best word I can think of to describe our stay at SBR. We ended every night with a fire in the fire pit and s’mores. This is the first vacation I have ever taken where we didn’t turn on the tv once. My son learned to paddle board, and the whole family enjoyed kayaking on the peaceful lake. It was so nice to just sit on the shade and enjoy the scenery in the peace and quiet. The cabins have been newly renovated and came equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The staff was super friendly and a text message away if you need anything. Nearby Lake Ann has a grocery store (a little pricey) but has a little bit of anything you could need if you’re not feeling up to driving to Traverse City.
